BASIC VSAF UNIT LIST PRICES:
Basic VSAF unit list prices shown below, include the following:
Single unit: One pump and motor on a suspension plate, one discharge strainer, one discharge tee, one control valve, one overflow fitting, one inlet adaptor (if required) and one pedestal mounted float switch.
Duplex unit: Two pumps and motors on individual suspension plates, two discharge strainers, two discharge tees, two control valves, one overflow fitting, one inlet adaptor (if required) and two pedestal mounted float switches.

NOTE (a):
The basic unit list prices shown include pumps built for 5-ft. deep pits. For pumps built for deeper pits, make the applicable PIT DEPTH ADDITION.

OVERLOAD PROTECTION:
A magnetic starter should be provided for each motor (single phase and three phase) to provide thermal overload and phase failure protection for the motors. Magnetic starters are not included in the basic VSAF unit list prices.

PIT DEPTH ADDITIONS:
When the pit in which the VSAF pumps are to be set is deeper than 5-ft., make the following list price additions and shipping weight additions to the basic VSAF unit list prices shown on the table above.

FED-FLUSH INLET ADAPTORS:
When a steel basin, cast iron basin or fiberglass basin is ordered for use with a VSAF Fed-Flush unit, the basin is furnished with an integral Fed-Flush inlet adaptor at no price addition.

When a steel cover and grouting frame for a concrete pit is ordered for use with a VSAF Fed-Flush unit, a separate Fed-Flush inlet adaptor with integral caulking hub is furnished at no price addition. To fabricate this inlet adaptor/caulking hub, the following information is required:
-Thickness of concrete pit wall.
-Inlet pipe size.
-Distance down from top of pit to inlet centerline.
-If inlet is not on the vertical centerline of the pit wall.

VSAF REPLACEMENT PUMP ONLY:
To determine the list price of a VSAF Fed-Flush pump only, with strainer assembly and tee in the pump discharge pipe (no Fed-Flush control valve or overflow fitting is included), follow the following steps:
1. Take the list price of a SINGLE VSAF unit from Page VSAF-1.
2. Add pit depth addition, if applicable.
3. Delete $2700 list price (this deletes the control valve and overflow fitting.)
4. Delete $810 list price, if float switch assembly is not required.
5. Delete list price of motor, if not required (see Sec.8, Page X-37 & X-38).
6. Multiply the remaining list price by 2 if two replacement pumps are required.
7. Use the standard "PUMPS" multiplier against the remaining list price.
