FEATURES
VALVES:
Valves and seats are hardened and lapped for long life. Valve bumpers have air
cushion for quiet operation.
CONNECTING RODS:
Rods are light in weight, yet strong. Bearing inserts are steel-backed and
removable.
ROLLER BEARINGS:
Mounted on each end of crankshaft to take both radial and thrust loads. Easily
adjusted.
FINNED INTERCOOLERS:
On all two-stage air cooled compressors. They insure maximum heat dissipation.
CRANKSHAFT:
Integral counterweights insure smooth operation. Crankshafts are drilled for
positive oil distribution.
LUBRICATION:
X, A and 100 Series compressors have positive splash lubrication system with
large oil reservoir and dust-proof crankcase. Models 206, 208 and 210
compressors have pressure lubrication system including a positive vane type oil
pump. Model 212 and larger compressors have self-reversing vane type oil pump
lubrication system operating either clockwise or counter-clockwise.
DRIVERS:
The standard drive arrangement is electric motor, V-belt and pulleys. Motor and
compressor are mounted on fabricated steel base with motor sliderails. Special
drive arrangements are also available. (such as gasoline engine, steam turbine,
etc.).
ACCESSORIES:
The following accessories are available for the Type C compressor line:
filter-muffler, intake silencer, discharge line silencer, belt guard, flexible
discharge connectors, unloaders, air check valves, pressure gauges, pressure
switches, motor starters, safety valves, vibration elimination rails, air
receivers, and many others.
