FEATURES

RECEIVER:
Heavy welded steel construction, designed for vented operation.

PUMP:
Bronze fitted, close-coupled, centrifugal design, with bronze sleeve fully protecting the shaft. Mechanical shaft seals are standard. Maximum water temperature at pump suction is 210°F

MOTOR:
Drip-proof ball bearing design. Units are available with 1750 RPM or 3450 RPM motors.

FLOAT SWITCH:
One for each pump, provides automatic operation, mounted and wired on unit.

STARTERS:
All polyphase units (200v or 230/460v), and integral HP single phase units (115/230v) are furnished with magnetic starters mounted and wired on the unit. Single phase fractional HP motors have built-in overload protection and do not require magnetic starters.

MODIFICATIONS

Alternating Float Switch (Replaces the two standard float switches on a duplex unit, to automatically alternate cycle of operation, as well as providing 2-pump operation under peak conditions.)

Units operating at 1750 RPM, add -4 to unit number (example: CCH-1020-4); units operating at 3450 RPM, add -2 to unit number (example: CCH-1020-2).

Units are available for discharge pressures higher than 80 PSIG, up to a maximum of 125 PSIG. Refer to an ABC Electric Corp. representative.

Suggested Specifications for Architects and Engineers

Furnish and install as shown on plans a Federal Type CCH Simplex (or Duplex) Condensation Return Unit with a rated capacity of _____sq. ft. E.D.R. at a discharge pressure _____p.s.i.g. at the pump. (Each) Pump shall be designed to deliver _____G.P.M. at the specified discharge pressure.

Entire unit to be factory assembled with all controls mounted and wired thereon, and to include one (or two) close-coupled, bronze fitted centrifugal pump and motor unit(s), a heavy welded steel receiving tank of _____gallon capacity. Pump to have mechanical shaft seal and bronze shaft sleeve. Each pump to be rated at _____GPM at the specified discharge pressure and close-coupled to NEMA motor(s) of _____H.P., _____Phase, _____cycles, _____volts, _____R.P.M. drip-proof (or totally enclosed, or explosion-proof) enclosures.

(Each) Pump to be controlled by individual enclosed float switch; (if alternation is desired on duplex units, specify an alternating float switch in lieu of the two standard float switches).

Furnish a magnetic starter, mounted and wired, for each 3-phase motor, or for each single phase motor in integral H.P. frame sizes. Single phase fractional H.P. frame motors shall have built-in overload protection switches.
